Dr. Francisca Valenzuela grew up in Delray Beach, Florida and earned her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University. She received her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean and completed her internship at Orange Park Medical Center. She began her residency in anesthesiology at Temple University Hospital but ultimately found herself more drawn to the diagnostic challenges, visual nature, and continuity of care offered by dermatology.
Dr. Valenzuela is a board-certified dermatologist. She completed a two-year clinical dermatology fellowship in South Texas and then graduated from her dermatology residency at HCA Healthcare Corpus Christi Medical Center.
She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. She has presented and published research on a variety of dermatologic and procedural topics.
Dr. Valenzuela speaks fluent Spanish and takes pride in building strong relationships with her patients. She believes in listening closely, creating personalized treatment plans, and making sure every patient feels comfortable and cared for.
